Forest Reciprocity Group (FRG) will give a public presentation on revitalizing our forests to revitalize communities. FRG seeks to collaborate with First Nations, landowners, county, state, and federal agencies to unburden forestlands of overcapacity fire fuel load small diameter poles. This burden can become our solution. When we tend our forests for regenerative health, we are reciprocated with an abundance of valuable raw material that can provide economic incentives to revitalize local economies. Small diameter poles are the most logical and progressive materials solution for use as framing fire-safe earthen encased affordable housing. There are also many other useful markets for forest thinning, including biochar, energy generation via wood gasification units, fencing, furniture, basketry, storage and garden sheds and many other meaningful products.

Come to this public presentation to learn more!

FRG is an initiative of Cloud Forest Institute with funding from the Just and Resilient Future Fund of the Another World is Possible Coalition and the Rose Foundation for Communities and the Environment.
